Rachel McNeel

Rachel, from Beckley, West Virginia, completed her undergraduate studies at West Virginia University. During her time at WVU, she conducted research on the effects of Alzheimer's on vision in its early stages. She is currently pursuing her doctoral studies at Georgetown University through the NIH Graduate Partnership Program, where her research focuses on a longitudinal multiomics study of age-related eye diseases.
Outside the laboratory, she enjoys cooking for friends and family, spending time outdoors, listening to and playing music, and weightlifting.
