Lab Manager & Research Assistant

Deeksha, from Texas, received her BS in Neuroscience from UT Dallas and her MS in Biotechnology from Georgetown University. Following industry internships, she discovered her true passion for scientific research. Her research interests focus on understanding the role of organelle dynamics in maintaining metabolic homeostasis.

Outside the laboratory, she enjoys practicing yoga, fishing, finding new hiking trails, and exploring Washington DC's diverse offerings.
